Martin Woods

Executive Chef

Chef Martin is a James Beard Best New Chef Award Nominee, Winner of Best New Restaurant Western Washington, Gold Medal Chen De Rotisserie and Winner of Taste of Vail. He has spent time working in France and at some of the greatest restaurants in the world including the 3 Michelin star restaurant, The French Laundry.

Sam Schwartz

CEO

Sam was a world champion professional big mountain skier turned entrepreneur. He started Avant in order to protect the places he loved most. Sam has a 15 year career in the food industry including owning Drunken Kitchen in Salt Lake City.
